Hello everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. I feel like I’ve been gone a really long time, though I know it’s only been about a week. Going to take a scroll and see what’s been happening, so prepare for some random babble...

...Really nice account of Rack’s trip to London to see “When Harry Met Sally”. Thank you for including the little details that made the day come alive for us. I’ve actually heard of John Nash – I spent an unfortunate period in my youth reading Regency romance novels. (That’s a secret, btw. So don’t tell anyone! *g*) I, too, have never seen the movie, but of course I’ve seen the famous restaurant scene. I think you’re right – that particular line you mentioned would sound much better coming from an older female. I wonder what made them change it? Go ahead and wear the t-shirt. Women can’t resist that sort of challenge. *eg*......Hmmm, Dogtrot has pictures. I want to see pictures! (said in my best “whiny voice” that hasn’t worked since I was...wait a minute...maybe that never worked)......Aside to Rack’s Teddy Bear: I always tell girl-child if she had been a boy, I would have named her Amadeus. She says at least it’s a real name, unlike the one I gave her. (She won’t believe I really found it in a baby name book, since she’s never seen it anywhere.)......I see we have a new poster. Hello and welcome Mango! I think most of us are looking forward to “Wonderfalls”. Not long to wait – next Friday, isn’t it? I’m also a big fan of “Joan of Arcadia”. (That’s what you meant by JOA, right?) When “Angel” becomes dust in the wind, it will probably become my favorite show......Fire’s been having hearing problems. Well, at least you do hear things – I live in a void......Hey! Pictures! Cool. Thanks for sharing, Dogtrot. I really like your blue beard, btw. *g* (You do know you inadvertently reinforced my tendency to whine, don’t you? You may be sorry about that in future.)......Yay! The panther’s back! Minor “Smile Time” talk follows (cc Lionhunter): * It’s funny how often Joss starts a trend. He does a show about vampires – soon even the soaps have vampires. He has an episode with Muppets – now “West Wing” has invaded the Muppetverse. Did anyone see that, btw? * ......Gothicwoman was here! It’s so good to see you! I’ve been meaning to email you, but emails and I are not on friendly terms just now. Is someone (Dogmeat?) still sending FT and you the current Whedonverse episodes? If you can’t babble about “Angel”, babble about anything. We like babble. (We do like babble, right? ‘Cause otherwise I have a post to delete! *g*)......Lionhunter envys our newish car. Funny thing about that. Guess what hubby’s doing as we speak? Fixing the old car! We decided to give it to oldest-daughter. How ironic. (‘Cause, you know, we got the new one so he wouldn’t have to do that anymore.) How’s the new job?……tarasApprentice: I thought of you the other day. I watched the episode of “Vegas” guest-starring your favorite Hobbit. He wasn’t very wise in this, though – Sam or other. *g* I did like it, however......Congratulations to Kung Fu on a job well done! Regarding your question – I think if you’re acting and people don’t like you, some blame can be placed on the character (at least in your own mind). When you’re giving a presentation, you succeed or fail entirely on your own merits. (Just picture them in their underwear.....having a “Friends” moment now. Hee!)......Oh, I see tarasApprentice said pretty much the same thing. So I’m redundant. That’s not new......Note to self – must get myself to a nunnery Fire’s lj to see what her happy dream was......Hmmm, Amber on “Cold Case” – must watch. I miss her!......Pretty jewelry! I like jewelry. I just usually can’t be bothered to remember to put some on as I run out the door (another note to self – check to see if ear piercings have grown shut)......Random "hello" to LdyKnight and LotD, 'cause I haven't seen them for awhile......Random plea to Gabriella to come back and visit us, 'cause I haven't heard from her in a very long while. (Hope you're ok!)...... Well, I guess that’s about it. Do I want to babble about anything else? I may have some questions/thoughts about “Angel” later, but I want to rewatch “Shells” first, so......Nope!
