tarasApprentice: I don’t get Showtime so I haven’t seen “Jeremiah”, nor have I seen “50 First Dates” since hubby and I rarely go to the theatre to see a movie. I think the last one we saw there was the latest “Star Wars” epic. (You just have to see those on the wide screen at least once. *g*)

Almond drags a freshly washed heifer in from the back room, which is wearing a lei composed entirely of chocolate chip cookies. Eyeing the panther, she does a quick spell to prevent mayhem and maiming. She also leaves a few cookies on the counter for a certain Teddy Bear. (While some might find a confrontation between a panther, a heifer, and a teddy bear entertaining, she is not one of them.)
Rack’s Teddy Bear: I voted in the poll (as I do every time I see a link to it), but I do wonder if it will do any good. Didn’t UPN say they would not be picking up “Angel”? Do you know if any other networks have shown interest?
Guns n’ Roses has a “best of” album coming out? That sounds like it would be worth owning. Is Rack planning on buying it?
Those t-shirts have become quite an issue here. Many schools are putting them on their “banned clothing” lists, since they feel they are insulting to the male students and undermine their self-esteem. I can agree with that, but they are also banning the “Boys Have Cooties” t-shirts as well, and I think that may be carrying it a little far. After all, that’s an old joke – “girl cooties” and “boy cooties”. (Does anyone here watch “Dexter’s Lab?)

You know, the other day I thought of something I wanted to tell you so bad I almost popped into the Barge to leave you a message, but I didn’t have time. Now for the life of me I just can’t remember what it was!
Dogtrot: Thanks, I did see that list of links awhile ago, and I managed to peek at a lot of them. I really like to see pictures taken by people I know, though, even if the quality isn’t as good. I like to see my friends having fun! *s*
Things in my neck o’, huh? Hmm.....well, Dad seems to have found a nursing home he’s not entirely unhappy with. If my brother gets the paper work filled out, he should be on the waiting list by the end of the week. They say it may be 6 months to a year before he gets in.
Did I tell you I liked your daughter’s pink hair? Girl-child wanted to put pink streaks in her hair last fall, and believe it or not I was going to let her, but she changed her mind. Too many of her friends had done it. She’s back to wheedling me for new ear piercings. Pester, pester, pester...*g*
Don’t have too much else to say right now. I may lurk awhile just to scare the crap out of anyone who pops in. I still want to post some thoughts on “Hole” and “Shells”, but I don’t feel ambitious enough right now.
