When I found out yesterday I wanted to cry. Seriously.
Here's a letter from Caroline Dhavernas:
Dear Wonderfalls fans,
This past year, the lives of the Wonderfalls producers, writers, cast and crew have been dedicated to the making of this series. The truth is, the energy and the long hours we put into this were all worth it: I am so proud of this show.
As you know, we inherited a very tricky time slot that doesn't give us much of a chance to be noticed by a large crowd. However, our faithful viewers seem to be in love, like I am, with Wonderfalls, and understand how witty, different, intelligent, fun and absurd the lives of these characters are, thanks to our brilliant writers.
The reviews have been truly amazing, quite frankly unlike anything I have seen before, but when I learned the ratings weren't so great, I logged on to the website to hear what the fans had to say. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I truly appreciate your incredible support and wonderful words. Your comments made me laugh and gave me the strength to keep faith myself!
Well, hallelujah! What do you know, I guess our prayers were answered! Thursday nights it is! Now, I know it's Ladies Night in many bars, at least in Montreal, my hometown, but LADIES! Be fashionably late!!! And don't hesitate to use the now famous pick-up line from the pilot: " your ass is ringing"...
