Publications of P. Yogananda's writings have been overtaken by editors, to serve as intake funnels to aim people toward taking the SRF Lessons. Authorship integrity of the SRF publications is lost. They can't be relied upon in a scholarly way as an archive of the titular author's thoughts. The rapid corruption of Yogananda's writings which has occurred is a great tragedy.


I wonder if this is really true. There are certainly some people active on the internet who would like to promote this viewpoint, but is it supported by the facts? Do you know of any examples where we can be certain that Yogananda's words have been altered without his permission (other than footnotes, or updates)?
