"There is so much confusion and misinformation about kechari mudra circulating that Shailendra wanted to show people what it really looked like and that it really is possible to do it."

To be honest I find nothing suprising about Shailendra's demonstation. His tongue is not very far up there - just barely beyond the soft palette. I have always been able to do this - even with no training or preparation.

"I disagree with your opinion. I think there is a place and a need for factual demonstrations to clear up some of the confusion surrounding kechari mudra."

I am questioning whether the information and demonstration is indeed "factual" since it is not consistent with what I have gleaned from old Kriya writings (from Satyeswaranada and YogaNikiten.) Perhaps this is just more of the confusion?
