Actually I am not asking for advise. I am trying to determine facts about the video. What I have determined so far is:

1. The instruction on the video is not the instruction that Paramahansa gave. From what I can tell from Kriyananda's writings it doesn't appear that he really got explicit instructions from Yogananda on this matter (expect "now now...in the future" or something like this.)

2. There are method(s) taught on the video which were specifically forbidden by Lahiri Mahasaya.

In my opinion Ananda/Kriyananda is doing a great diservice to the followers of Paramahansa Yogananda by publishing this video. I am sure that there are many devotees out there who are mistakenly thinking that this video represents Yogananda's instruction when in fact it does not. And perhaps even worse is that the video advises methods that were strictly forbidden by Lahiri Mahasaya. No, I will not be buying that video!
