My parents were up there last week. They go mid-late October every year, rain or shine and it was raining. They usually spend 2-3 days in East TN and then go on to Daddy's sister's place in OH.

Our leaves are beginning to turn too. Even our oak trees don't lose all of there leaves over the winter, so the golden, red, yellow leaves aren't as pretty here as they are in places to the north. I do have a maple I've been enjoying from my computer desk for about a week now. The leaves are nice orangy yellow. The hickory leaves haven't turned yet. They are typically our prettiest fall trees.

Our lows have been in the upper 40s and the highs are in the upper 70s. We've had some highs in the 60s, which is quite early for us. Our first frost won't happen for a couple of weeks yet. We've still got butterbeans and bell peppers out at the farm that need picking, but no one has time at the moment.

The farm is being listed by a realtor this week.
