was our third frost in as many days. I had pulled up all my garden plants a few weeks ago except the tomatoes. They were the only ones that were dealing well with our drought conditions. They were still blooming and are loaded with tennis ball size green tomatoes, but, now the frost has worked them over. Our leaves have begun to turn in earnest now, and more so since the frost has hit them. Though I have been blowing and mowing leaves all summer. The drought's effects on the trees this year has really stressed them. I always like the golden color of Hickory trees as they change. Red of the Maples are great also.
