There is a problem with 1.4.1 - currently there doesn't have to be a member of SUDA general committee on IVDA SC. A clause could go in the IVDA constitution like I suggested, saying that both southern & northern universities must be represented on the IVDA SC. That would need a vote to go in, so we can't put it in the SUDA constitution until it goes in the IVDA constitution. Even if it did go through though, you may only get one person from SUDA GC on the IVDA SC and this would give them power on decisions regarding SUDA.

Maybe it would be better to say something along the lines of: "For cases regarding eligiblitity and other cases where the IVDA constitution applies, the SUDA executive committee will abide by the decision of the IVDA standing committee. For any other matters solely regarding interpretation of the SUDA constitution the SUDA executive committee shall interpret the constitution as they feel is appropriate, advised by members of the IVDA standing committee".
Maybe Ali can come up with better constitutional wording; It's Friday and my brain isn't functioning.

Are we going to have to vote on accepting the new SUDA constitution as a whole at the Sheffield EGM?
