 Yeah, actually, Olivia has a point there. Since the Offbeat at IVDA is now based on the 4 qualifying teams at NUDA and SUDA, then surely this is going to reduce the total amount of time taken anyway isn't it? Am I right in assuming that there were 15 entries (or thereabouts) at IVDA this year? Shortening the time doesn't seem to make much sense. Surely a good performance (from qualifying universities) is definitely worth watching. I think and a total of 3 minutes performance is not really all that bad given this will take just over 30 mins at most. I mean, I certainly enjoyed watching Offbeat this year (well at least those that were really good). Does the new rule for Offbeat time also apply to SUDA and NUDA? Sorry...I am probably being so thick here (please don't shout at me!!) but trying to switch from writing an engineering journal paper to dancing is not quite so easy. Feedback is always welcome :-)
