But perhaps there is more to the story. You think it’s just these 12. From what people are saying this has gone on for decades. Doesn’t make it right but makes it bigger than going after just 12 teachers plus ma and their students. So the issue is deeper and more ingrained than just these few. If it is true that these teachers felt they had to say their dancers names to even be considered by judges Because everyone’s doing it then that’s an issue too. If everyone is doing it then these 12 did it too and therin lies the issue. Teachers shouldn’t feel they have to share names to get their good dancers noticed. It’s unfair to all involved. To the dancers who want to win fairly. To the dancers whose teachers don’t text and on And on. And it’s Beyond texts - small world with lifelong friendships spanning decades - even if no texts I’m sure many favor their friends students or children. It’s a broken system.
And it’s not a pR move. Watch the top ranked dancers. They are good! Maybe the order switches around but generally belong there You can go after the Cheaters without completely denigrating CHILDREN which is what you are doing. Many older ones get sent screen shots of people denigrating them.
