  • yes, knowing which dances you are planning to do helps them plan. You don't have to do your "Oireachtas" dances, esp this far before December, but many dancers do. • Dancers have to dance in a certain order, so that go back before the judges in the same order each round, ie reel/hornpipes, reel/TJ's, Slip Jig/TJ's, Slip Jig/hornpipes. Most people don't realize how complicated running a champ stage can be, and how important it is for dancers to check in when they are asked to so that lines can be organized and time is not wasted. • Went last year, NOT going this year. Depending on age group, small rooms( judges and musicians were on the dance floor one almost got kicked by a dancer), last year a stage was setup in the venders area. No place to watch unless you were against the wall, better get there early for parking! I will say dancing in front of the Capital (an added $50 last year) was a nice photo op.   • Hopefully that stage wil lbe altered, went right up against a wall that one dancer kicked. Stages ran quickly and some missed their dances b/c arrived too late (not feis fault!). Some had conflicts difficult to figure out as on different floors and some missed their dances due to the conflicts not worked out well.
