Subject: p16 is where it says entry for adults is at “teacher’s discretion.”

Also, it states that Advanced Adults is for those that have chosen to leave youth/&over categories FOREVER. Regular adults has no such stipulation, so that option is preserved. I can see if you’ve waited out competitions for 5 years and you’re not sure if you want to drop down to &overs, you’d opt for regular Adults instead of switching to the competition which has dancers who came straight from &overs and which closes the doors forever to you moving to &overs and perhaps going to worlds.
Especially if entry to regular adults is at teacher's discretion. Keep your options open. Advanced Adults is brand new for NANs and might be a one-off.
