Dancers who compete on teams then have solos the next day are at a disadvantage against those who didn't have to stay up late for awards in full hair/makeup the night before, then wake up at o'dark o'clock the next morning for more hair/makeup. These complaints aren't about stamina, they're about it being harder for dancers to be at peak performance after a long day of dancing/night of awards. ALL athletes need to be properly rested to perform at their peak. Plus, as another person mentioned, any dancing on potentially slippery stages increases a dancer's risk of injury
