Subject: I wonder who the "backup" tabulator is.

They used Quickfeis for over a decade (the entire 10 years my daughter competed, plus two years after). We love how you can still view results from years ago, not that we looked back often. But occasionally a question would come up about where she ranked a particular year or who the winner was. We never had a single complaint about Quickfeis and from what I have gathered, we are far from alone. (We are in MidAmerica). It's frustrating from us that we STILL can't view the results from the O22 competition, which includes young ladies my daughter competed with. I can only imagine how the actual dancers and their families feel. What a mess! If the Southern region doesn't have a stong back up plan in place that doesn't include Go.Feis, they are not being prudent.

Good luck to all the dancers next weekend in the Southern Region! I'm a Midwesterner now, but raised in Mississippi and still follow the Southern Region Oireachtas as we feised a lot down South back when she was still at it and some of the girls she got to know are still competing.
