Unfortunately, I think the ban starts when you enroll at a new school, not when you leave the one you're at.

I'd call the other schools in your area and see if they offer a trial class (or if they currently have openings, I know some are full right now). Try out their classes & see if your dancer can find the right fit with a new place.
