Poor judgement? 100%! Creepy AF? Also yes. Sexual abuse? Not by legal definition: the incident occurred between two drunk ADULTS; the student was legally an adult - but not old enough to drink; JL did not provide the alcohol. Yes, I have read the entire police report. Why did this adult student run to mommy and subsequently the police to tattle? They put themself in that unfortunate situation, and instead of leaving the room when everyone else left and the conversation turned uncomfortably sexual, they stayed and continued to drink. Completely inappropriate to make a pass at a student of any age, but this was not a child. Also totally unacceptable to be drinking with students under 21.

Bottom line: gross unprofessionalism, but not illegal. That is why no charges have been made since the investigation.
