Had the man not grabbed onto his tail before trying to cut it off, he would've succeeded, but the ape had felt the tug, seeing as his tail was the most sensitive area on his body, and quickly responded before Victor could complete what it was he was striving to do.

After shaking him from his rear, Tetsuo turned, jaws gaping open as another thick beam of crimson spurt forward, heading straight towards Victor, who had now become the ape's target.**
