i have the best ever theory about rugby which i meantioned to a couple of friends ages ago, but i think i should get more opinions on it now.

ok. my theory is Rugby used to b a method of expelling homosexual tendencies in an acdeptable way in a less enlightend society. As society beocmes more open minded rugby declines.

Rich mentioned the "embrace", i dont know any technical terms, but all the huddling, the overly physical tackles and contact. I dunno, seems dodgy to me.
