I'm looking into PhPbb as I speak. I'll need to upgrade my webhosting, because at the moment it doesn't support databases. But I think it will be worth it. Just bear with me, folks. The world of PhP is new to me. But it's something I need to know, anyway, so it's just as well. I hate being clueless about new technology. You bury your head in the sand for 5 minutes and you're left in the dust... I'm going to make a message board with a few forums (not too many -- you all told me last month that less is better). The message board will be the type where you have to register and log in to post. I'm not crazy about that as a user, but all decent message boards seem to be going in that direction these days. And it's better for security and administration. For example, I'll be able to ban certain IP addresses or email addresses or user names. My goal is to have it up for early September, before school starts and my life gets rather crazy again with my kids' schedules. I don't think I'll be able to migrate the current forum over to the new one, so I'll just have a link to it someplace for a while. I'll keep you guys posted.
