I believe that both covenants are needed and enforceable and should be enforced, I praise and stand behind any board member willing to do so! What it comes down is people not wanting to put forth the effort needed to maintain both items. There are several options on what to do with both. It just takes people opening their minds and doing what it takes to maintain and keep pride in Willoughby Station. I personally so not want it to look like Hickory Hills, which could easily; happen if people aren’t careful as to what they vote in an out of the covenants. Think about more than just your personal objections when you say these things. Some people care for their things others do not, but you don’t want the neighborhood to reflect that or there goes your property values. Now more than ever is the time to protect what you have in this economy, meaning our home values. Where I grew up trash cans were kept in the back of the home or you had small enclosures for them next to your garage that were very nicely constructed and could be done so in Willoughby with minimal effort. Not to mention that you picked up your toys at night when you were done and put everything back in it place. Things shouldn't change now. I know people are busy, I have two kids that I chase around and I work. It can be done and should be done. Stop taking the easy way out, go back to the days when you wanted everything you owned to look pristine. Please think about these things before you start the process to make Willoughby Station look like Hickory Hills.
