Name: Wonder Woman Location: Sydney, NSW Australia Date: Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 10:30:34 PM Subject: Hi Ming-radio-frequency tags to track/ assets--Proton/ERG Comments: Hi Ming, being an ex forklift driver (actually Walt is a courier driver--LOL) I know of the importance of pallets and when they get lost and how much money it costs. (even though--dare I say it, you can depreciate them as you know--LOL) in replacing them. Noted is the tech BIL have introduced to keep track of their pallets. ( extract in inverted comma's from Brambles ASX announcement 25/11/2002) -------------------------- "The application of technology to improve asset management and the user friendliness of our service is another key global initiative. An example is the use of radio-frequency tags to track our assets. We have a pilot program underway in Florida involving 250,000 tagged pallets." Regards,--WW.
