Subject: ATTENTION IN THE PITS!

TO ALL STRANGE ENGINEERING OUTLAW STREET CAR SHOOTOUT RACERS AND FANS

REF: May 6th and 7th Strange Engineering Outlaw Street Car Shootout RESCHEDULED

With the forecast of 100% chance of rain on Friday & Friday night, the forecast of 50-60% chance of showers on Saturday, Mother's Day on Sunday and the time it would take to properly scrape and prepare the race track following this week's extremely wet weather, we have decided to postpone the Strange Engineering Outlaw Street Car Shootout until next Saturday May 14th. The Pro Mod portion of the event will be CANCELLED due to a scheduling conflict that can't be changed. The race will be a "normal" Saturday only race. The race schedule for Friday May 13th & Saturday May 14th is as follows:

Friday May 13th Pro Testing- Gates open 9am, Pro Testing 10am until 5pm

Friday Night "street night" and Tri State Street Car Challenge 6pm until 10:30pm

Saturday May 14th Strange Engineering Outlaw Street Car Shootout
Gates open 8am
Sportsman Qualifying at 10am - 2 Qualifying runs per class
Pro Qualifying at Noon - 2 Qualifying runs per class
Eliminations to follow Qualifying

For the Index Racers that were planning on going to Atco Dragway next weekend for the NHRA Division One National Open Series we have worked it out with Atco and NHRA to allow all Index racers a qualifying run on Sunday morning May 15th followed by eliminations. Race at Cecil on Saturday and Atco on Sunday!

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone but the SAFETY of our racers and fans is our first priority and we feel this is the best way to keep that priority in order!

We wanted to get this out as soon as possible in order to not cause anyone unnecessary traveling so PLEASE PASS THE WORD.
