However hard the boy fought, surely the youth did not have the fury, frusteration, and ferocity as stirred the vampire's fire and he drug the struggling form doggedly in the directon the boy had had to come, yanking the redhead to the top of the stairs and whirling to grin hell into the terrified face. Like floundering outside stranger's doors? Well, picked the wrong door today, poor lad. Quirking an eyebrow over a cold-laughing emerald, no need for words to reiterate the fact that the boy's presence was unwelcome and was soon to bring him pain, the devil breathed a sick chuckle, taken with the sudden desire to sink his fangs into the youngster's throat. Striking with a lightning impulse, he did exactly that, drawing a deep pull at the crimson wine before breaking off with a dizzy spin of satisfaction, giving his victim a final wicked grin, and with no further ado, flung the boy over the brink of the stairs to tumble as far as momentum and gravity would take him. And good riddence! Taking only a moment to gaze down in demented triumph, he turned and stalked back to his door, back to Alex, a returning hero having successfully defended his home territory.
