Feeling himself be lifted, he lets loose one last, ragged sob before his eyes tightly clench shut and he feels himself falling. The harsh ping as his body hits the steps sends the railing vibrating, he he tumbles, until he reaches the landing of the second floor. His body is badly bruised and cut as he comes to a stop, neck slowly seeping blood, and eyes wide open as he lays there... And little would Deangelo know, a set of dark eyes had witnessed the whole scene, and there would be no mercy. The blond figure lashes out at the off-guard vampire, fangs catching hold of the male's throat, ripping and tearing, attempting to shove him back into the wall.
