Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by Al Franken
If you haven't read this book, please do as soon as possible. It is not a left wing rant or a weak attempt to slander a certain group. Instead it is a factual (by factual I mean cited, like you had to do in college papers) and rational look at the dangerous and scary direction we, as a society, are being led. Thank you Mr. Franken

heh. and what, exactly, should we have to counterbalance the clearminded, civil musings of bill o'lielly and rush Limpdick?
it is i fantastic book and it'll scare the poop out of you. aside from being able to fact check his assertions (and finding them true) he rips apart the BS spoonfed to the conservative sheep with... yep: fact checking.
and he's not a blowhard. you just have no sense of humor.

I finally started reading it last night and I laughed out loud a thousand times already. The chapters on that hideous bitch Ann Coulter are pretty insane.

If you really want to fry, check out "Why America Slept: The Failure to Prevent 9/11", by Gerald Posner also check out "Losing bin Laden: How Bill Clinton's Failures Unleashed Global Terror", by Miniter. It's absolutely maddening how much the former Pres dropped the ball and let Bin Laden grow into what he did.

Read the books and find out, Posner was a bigtime Clinton/Gore backer so he has lots of inside details. Miniter did years of research before he wrote his book also. Niether one of them are Bush fans.

I wish I had the time to read anything but class-texts, but It'll be a while before I can sit down and really appreciate reading it, I want to do it some justice.
Anyone read Ann Coulter's latest book? All it is typical tradition moral majority rants, very little substance, no facts.
Clearly, she's no Al Franken........
