>What will be your excuse for rejecting the prophet Mohammed?
Mohammed doesn't lead to eternal life with God. That' my excuse.

If you believe the Quran, then I must concede that the Quran has that one absolutely correct. ;)

I haven't run across that concept in the Bible yet. Perhaps I just missed that verse? Please do me a favor and find it so we can discuss it further. There are many instances in which God caused enormous bloodshed and catastrophe, but the Lord does not make mistakes. For those that love the Lord, all things bad and good work together for the greater good, a divine plan which seems to lie beyond the scope of human intelligence and must be accepted on faith.
God's commandment of "Do not kill." is as plain to understand as... well... "Do not kill." If a mob of people claiming to be Christians plundered and murdered an entire village, don't assume that the Bible advocates pillaging and killing. The Bible teaches what it teaches regardless of what anyone says or does, now, in the past, or in the future. So if you want to know your creator, go to the infallible source of knowledge. His word.
Lets say you are walking past a playground and you notice all the kids running around with scissors in their hands. Curiously, you ask one of the kids how this came to be, and he says their teacher allows them to run with scissors. If you are concerned for their safety, are you going to take the kid's word for it, or are you going to talk with the teacher personally? Naturally you seek the teacher because she is the more intelligent figure of authority.
Likewise, you can observe the actions and words of men and make assumptions on what the Bible says based on that alone, or, you can read the Bible yourself and also find those who teach the Bible just the way it is written. Just as you would be concerned about those kids running with scissors, I am concerned about your eternal future. God already knows your fate, but you don't, and I don't. That's why nothing would be better than for you to confess your sins to Jesus, accept Him as your savior, and live and grow in the family of God knowing that your future is secured with His promise to you of eternal life.
