Maybe it's because Farscape doesn't trigger your imagination the way LFN does? Or maybe you're one of those fandom monogamous people? The ones who stick to one fandom at a time? *g*

Speaking for myself - if I like something, and if it has a fandom, I will read fic in it (There are some fandoms I've been meaning to read in, and haven't been able to yet, but I do intend to read more one of these days). And if I keep reading fic long enough, I'll be very likely to have bunnies. I've only barely stopped myself from starting fics in the Buffyverse and Good Omens - because goodness knows I've enough WIPs to finish already!

And does anyone else have this differential in fic inspiration, reading or writing, which doesn't neatly correlate with love the soure material?

Not the writing bit - but I've been having strange urges to read Batman fic lately. Which is weird, because I have neither the time nor the opportunity to update myself with the source material, i.e, the comics.
