 He let his body drift back to the brick wall that the ancient fire escape was bolted too. He could easily make out her form both with his eyes and the tug of their connection. He had gotten that card tucked under a plate that Alicia had brought to him. The card had already been gently opened and the kindness had made Zeth feel an uncontrollable gratification for their friendship. . He brushed against her mind again in a fashion similar to a cat weaving between its master’s legs. “Im here…on the escape. I just came out to smoke…Alicia is inside making dinner.” He didn’t want Ashena to think he wasn’t being taken care of. She was moving closer to him and every fiber in their being was being quenched with the closeness of their bond. . “Come up, sit with me. I got your card…thank you for coming to save me.” He offered the sheepish of smiles…one that would be felt more with her bond than seen at this distance. “you returned the favor of life saving.”
