I don't remember exactly what level I was but it was early on in chapter 2. I'd say around 10-12th level?

The thing about him that was hardest were his wing buffets and of course that hellacious fire breath (it would deal out over 100hps of damage and fry anything he managed to get). I beat him by spreading out my party and coming at him from different directions. That way someone would avoid being buffeted and could keep whacking away at him. It was a good fight. One that took me several attempts to win and for me it wasn't one of those fights where I had to resort to using cheesy tactics to win, but rather planned out a multi-facited attack that kept him and me on our toes. It was a fight that also has a major reward for winning. The Holy Avenger is one of the best weapons in the game and is a must for any paladin.

How did you get him in the upper dungeon?
