Subject: It does sound similar to the U/U church except I think they have 6 or 7 principals, and they relate them to the colors of the rainbow, so it must be 6...U/U however, dont mention christ, and they dewell ( I cant spell this word) mostly on being a good person to become as close to god as we can by being like God. But they rarely even use that word! I went to a church run by the congregation and it was awesome until the minister was hired and then all we heard about was christ...thats when I left. I too have that feeling when I hear the word church, and christ hits me the same way, even though I have come to understand more about him. Iam glad Lissa you felt peace and love there! I hope they are as open to others as they sound

[> Thanks for the clarification J. I knew they were either the same or very similar. It all gets down to how you feel when you're in whatever group you attend (I use group because I don't like the word congregation). More power to you Lissa - if you feel good attending their gatherings, I'd keep going too. Sometimes I wish there were more people that believed in the same things as I do. It gets kinda lonely not being part of a group sometimes but I do enjoy going to different gatherings just to learn and see what else is going on in the world. -- Lori, 22:58:54 08/25/03 Mon
