Subject: Urgent request for Prayers for Peter

Thank you all for your prayers over the past months for my friend Peter who came down with cancer in the fall.
He's back in Intensive Care, as the chemo seems to have changed something in his lungs (I couldn't quite make out what he was trying to say, something about fibrillation?)...he's got pneumonia and is once again struggling to breathe.
I spent last evening with him, any words or swallowing a bit of water were a struggle which put him into stress, but he asked me to thank everyone and twice he said "I need magic, please"...
Hearing about his little boys at a sleepover the night before put a smile on his face, which was nice to see. His anxiety level came down a bit when his hands were held, he's still got an amazingly strong grip.
After I'd done energy work on him (could only touch his feet, his head and one shoulder at a time due to all the sensors, the position of his mask and all the hardware around him, I know he craves touch) he settled down a bit, but he hasn't slept in days. He's trying to fight this on his own as much as possible, without getting the tracheostomy put back in etc.etc.
Sorry for all the details, but if anyone can send Reiki, prayers, loving thoughts, healing energy, he'd be very grateful.
He's got so much to live for, and such a strong spirit, but he's so anxious...not getting enough oxygen is tough. His wonderful wife Paula has had to go back to work as their income has dropped so dramatically too. She's lucky to have found a great job teaching phys ed to kids while someone's on a year long maternity leave. (she's also part of a group of volunteer clowns who visit the Toronto Sick Children's Hospital regularily).
Thank you for your prayers, he said last night that the one thing he can really feel is Love.
