I agree with your assessment about the exaggeration. I don't agree with their exaggeration, but I DO agree with what they are saying (i.e., the principle contended). That's the point here: the principles, not fandom_wank.

How many times must we repeat that fandom_wank isn't the issue here? Continually bringing them up misses the point of my posts.
