they're big enough to help out and I am sure they understand about not shopping, give George a list of suggestions and let him go to it. It's amazing what they all can all learn to do when they have to do it. (So what if they don't do it "your" way? As long as it gets done somehow or other, that's what counts.) When I first hurt my back I was flat in bed for about six weeks with nothing to do but read or do crossword puzzles. It was boring as heck, and listening to things going on downstairs was envy provoking because I couldn't even get down to participate in my daughter's fifteenth birthday party, but hey Tom made a pretty good cake all by himself and the pizza was not bad either. I was back on my feet around the house before Christmas, but I did not participate in the shopping that year, and Tom followed my list pretty well.

I hope your knee heals rapidly and that the pain subsides in a big hurry. Will be sending a few extra prayers your way.
