Hey there... You're right on so many things dear friend...and certainly the one that says some people may understand a bit better than others... Some of us walk it everyday of our lives... Some of us have kids that are walking it now too... and we get to use that to turn against ourselves also when we make the list of things that must be our fault... Truth is... Depression is one hell of a monster to fight... and though a friend or someone that loves you can't chase it away... knowing you are not alone can sometimes help us to make it through another day...

If only when you were feeling this way you could look into the hearts of all the people that love and care for you.. all of the people who's lives you have touched and brought magic and light too... but depression never reminds us of that... Somehow it gets all messed up inside and we begin to believe that these people are even better off without us... We get so worn out there is no energy to keep on trying...to find that hope that will help us believe in a brighter tomorrow... Then if we are lucky... one of god's angels finds a way to bring us that little spark that gets us through this moment... Like your lil ducky friend... Heck you shouldn't feel badly about talking to a duck... We do it all the time... Frankly some ducks I've met are a whole lot smarter than some people... :) Your lil friend sure was...

I know there isn't much I can say that can help that dark cloud that descends and sucks the joy out of life...but what I can offer is my hand in friendship...my heart in caring... and the knowledge that I know is truth... You make a beautiful difference to the lives of many... I'm just one of them...

Hold on...and when you don't have the strength to do that...know that your family here is reaching out to hold onto you...

Be kind and gentle to yourselves... I have lit all the candles in this special place called HOLAS... and all the familiar haunts we all used to frequent so that you will always find your way home...where you will be welcomed with open arms...

Love, and rainbows of hope and healing...
Sassy
