  • I'm not suggesting Silva won't leave, but I'd be hesitant to presume Spurs as his likely destination. I'd imagine that an intelligent individual like Marco would seek counsel from his two fellow countrymen and former Tottenham managers before making a decision, and I doubt that feedback or advice would be encouraging.     • Progressive is a word with horrible connotations . He’ll think Spurs has fallen so low it will be easy to vastly improve them . • There is another angle, fulham have been in Europe 3 times (off top of my head) in history, from a fan point of view some of the most memorable experiences have been in Europe, not always against big names either. Who knows what the future holds, when we have another chance, my West Ham mates had time of their lives on their run.   • I agree. Also, whereas it's like Intertoto for a few rounds, you're eventually up against clubs with some clout.   • Absolutely spot on, Henry. The previous European experiences were some of the best times of my Fulham supporting existence. Following your team is meant to be fun (not life and death as some of the wrist slitters on here would have you believe). Season after season in the Prem, just trying to survive can become very mundane, not every season will be as good as this one. Bring Europe on and let the good times roll. For the second one we had the ball down their end and Orlando Sa lost it instead of blasting it into the Hammersmith End .
