Subject: We do best when the opposition gives us room and the expectations are lower. There must be some psychology in that but there aren't enough quick forward runs into dangerous positions. Too much emphasis on holding positions in deep midfield and out wide? Not enough fluidity and imagination? Given the room our forward players are dangerous and defensively we're solid if midfield maintains their defensive shape. We're a very decent mid table side but we're a long way from being better than that.

  • We have no natural goalscorers so when you have a tight game with few chances, unless Raul scores we aren't getting more than 2. Added to the fact we tend to concede 1 goal a game it leaves every game on a knife edge (NT) -- Waterboy, Tuesday, April 15, 08:31:49am (NoHost/84.67.210.3)
  • Apart from the last game when Raul didn’t score snd we scored 3. We have plenty of scorers, our goals are spread out really well, only area I would agree is we don’t keep enough clean sheets and other area is set pieces, between Berge/lukic and all our defenders I think we have a couple of goals, that’s not enough, I’d actually say our attacking players have done well to keep us where we are despite getting no help from set pieces and goals from our defenders.
