Subject: Possibly in the naivety of youth I always thought we only needed a few more quality players to be contenders.Macedo,Cohen,Langley,Mullery,Haynes and Leggat was a fine core.Instead we sold Mullery and the decline began.Most teams had a chance in those days.We should have beaten Burnley and played Spurs at Wembley.
