I used to be a regular on here back in the old days, didn't know it was still going but just heard about Cliffie passing so came back to see.

Cliffie was a legend. I didn't know him personally, spoke to him a number of times and he was at pretty much every away game I went to for years.

  • Only Cliffie could travel up to Burnley on a Tuesday night and imbibe so much on the train he ended up being escorted out of the ground... before kick off. It was result, mind... very insipid display and we lost 3-1, some things never change... great character, RIP Cliffie.
