Subject: We may have signed them for a year but can now get a fee for them. We had a good season up to Palace in the Cup and apart from Liverpool watching us since then very boring! I hope we get rid of Pereira a non scoring No10 and get a quality replacement and two wingers. Nelson deserves another chance as long as we can terminate his contract if his injuries return.

  • Not sure I understand the yes man point being made by the OP. Transfer and other spend is limited by both the FFP constraints and the extent of the willingness of the owner to continue to subsidise the losses of the club. Everyone at the club has to work within those constraints - as do those working at other owner managed clubs/businesses.
