We can't have someone sat in reserve costing us £9m a year, and we can't sell him for a loss, as due to amortisation rules, it would pull forward the entire loss into the year.   • Is Andersen really "such a liability"? Not as good as I'd hoped, a bit slow but basically on a par with Diop. A solid mid table Prem quality player. I can accept that we didn't need to buy him and could have spent the money more wisely perhaps but there's certainly no reason to want to replace him. In my opinion of course.     • Yes, yes he is a big liability, and no he isn’t on par with diop at all. We concede a lot more goals when Anderson plays instead of diop. You can’t even use the excuse that Anderson is in the team because he is good at hoofing it long anymore.   • It's seems contradictory that no wholesale changes will be made, but then list wholesale changes. However, taking the claim on face value, and factoring in FFP, I'd imagine we will be selling off Perreira and possibly one or two others to finance Silva's "plan".
