Subject: What does ‘Ambitious Plan’ say to you ?

If indeed we cannot ‘spend big ‘ without incoming funds from outgoing transfers , then for me it doesn’t quite add up . Assuming the only significant departure financially is likely to be Pereira ( presuming our ‘big hitters ‘ will remain ) then how ambitious could we be and what might Silva be hoping for this window ,unless our Recruitment come up with some highly-rated under -the- radar ‘gems’ , unlikely as that is of course . So what might it be , bringing back Palhinha , Nelson and even Carvalho ??? Point being it is perhaps nigh on impossible for a Club like ours to suddenly ‘elevate ‘its transfer strategy and targets, only 1 year on after seemingly doing exactly that last summer .
