Subject: Undoubtedly the main reason Silva has stayed , almost total control . But I agree with you there ideally should be a shift towards less proven but highly promising younger players . Alas though you need a focused scouting network including ‘analytics ‘ . Far easier under the guise of ‘backing your Manager’ to simply allow him to dictate potential targets . Why is it that at so many PL Clubs the DoF is full time ? With who might Silva discuss his targets from a footballing perspective ?
