  • Having been to Glastonbury Festival about 8 times, I can tell you there is a hell of a lot more to it than you see on the tv or the Iplayer. For a start there is an accoustic arena which has preformers closer sounding to your favoured genre, plus many other smaller arenas with up and coming or established artists. The festival is absolutely huge, and there are circus arenas, a comedy tent, loads of other performance arts areas.           • Let me guess, you've never been, and have been informed by the red tops? I have worked there and paid for ticket entry too. I have seen such a breadth of music from Dolly Parton to JZ, from Buddy Guy to Bjork, from Chic to Motorhead. And you can watch all sorts of music performers if you stray away from the main stages.
