The following would be "bad" outcomes, proving Mickey's multi-year campaign to be bunk: We qualify for Europe; Marco stays irrespective the outcome; Marco leaves and we stay in the middle of the pack; Marco leaves and we do even better. In fact there's only one outcome that now fits his narrative: we finish limply, Marco leaves and we get relegated. That's his wet dream. He's backed himself in a position to only want us to fail.
