  • Million dollar question. Some suggest that Marco has been given carte blanche which is a ridiculous concept. TK is ultimately responsible for all signings. MS knows positions that need addressing and may well put names into the mix. But it surely has to be TK heading up the research & negotiations and making the final decisions.       • While you have both responded at length, it doesn't come across clearly (to me anyway) whether either you or 'Bad Boy' reckon Silva has been given too much say in transfers or too little. I can survive without knowing, but would (and I'm not being sarky here) read any clarification with interest.         • Fwiw, Silva prefers players like Andersen, Berge & Iwobi who have plenty of experience in EFL (and may well have pushed for them) Conversely younger, less experienced players have probably been spotted and selected by TK (Muniz, Bobb, ESR, Cuenca, Diop, Kevin, Kusi Asare ) game time per player this season is very revealing. Of the others, I'd imagined Muniz advocated by Marco, but the more expensive and recent of the younger purchases do seem suggestive of a change.               • Re. point #1... Mitro was bought by Khans and they want[ed] to splash out on the US forward. Maybe those reports are/were false. (Is that it?) Recent recruitment becoming more 'lazy'? Depends what's meant. ESR and Bobb have similar backgrounds, but Kevin's differs, so it can't be that. If you mean all yet-to-convince they were worth the dosh, and the 'B' clubs have tend to be smarter, then yes. (Relative roles there of TK and MS remain my enquiry.
