Subject: Team reflecting the coach

Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised, the same things that I thought when I watched that game was what I think is happening with silva and his situation. Not really committed, flat, uninspired, lack of fresh ideas, no dynamism or enthusiasm, an incredible ability to pass up opportunities when presented with them. We genuinely could have been playing in the champs league next season, Europe with even a half decent effort to the end of the season. This was against an atrocious team, one of the worst teams you’ll play in the league and we served up a big dose of mediocrity and have been for weeks now. Heard all the excuses going, injuries, sickness, we aren’t good away etc, players and manager need to take a long hard look at themselves, but I really believe they are reflecting what is going on off the pitch, lack of clarity and lack of commitment, it’s reflecting in these abject performances. If you’re boss isn’t committed to the cause and absolutely engaged in the here and now then is it any wonder the people who follow him aren’t.
