  • Could definitely drag on. Clearly he was hoping that by now his stock he'd be a shoe-in for a better job. That hasn't happened and he has some thinking to do. He'll hold out as long as he can, use Benfica to drum up interest and put pressure on the club, and ultimately will settle for us only if he has to. The irony, of course, is that he's causing the exact situation he complains about with player signings, proving the point in why its so hard to get things over the line without overpaying.
