Subject: How confident are you?

If Silva leaves do we have new manager in place before World Cup starts!
I would imagine a shortlist has not even been drawn up by Ali Mac to present to the owner.
Fulham job just feels now as not so highly regarded unless it’s the mercenary type or recent failed managers who get linked at clubs of our size. Does the recruitment setup at Fulham put off the more accomplished manager?
You would think many walls have many ears especially in today’s game.
I always hoped he would stay but you have think it’s looking more unlikely with his recent barbed quotes about timescale of recruitment being mentioned on a few occasions which leads back to Tony & Ali Mac. My guess is the owner and the board are more content with mid table positions more than ever now they have that new toy being filled on home fixtures. We are not this time looking at a manager to get promoted it’s more along the lines of as you were don’t rock the boat let alone be ambitious. They will want someone in to keep this current squad ticking over with probably one or two additions on 1rst of September?
Why on earth would you want a Frank or Nuno to name just two both failed managers and damaged goods but every possibility they get interviewed if the club feel they can keep just ticking things over. Never thought I would say this but I would not be opposed to someone like Southgate coming in?
