Subject: Was your father baffling too? As a conservative, his political views were probably closer to reform than perhaps you'd care to admit. I came from a poor working class background too. My father voted conservative and my mother old Liberal. I believe in small government, think people should be left to live their lives without interference or reliance on the state. So that will always rule out left wing parties for me, even though I have some left leaning views.
In reply to: CB Beyond caring for 52% of the population. 's message, "Drobe reform is your best bet mate. Judging by your posts. Not sure of your circumstances but most of their voters don't have halfpennies to rub toger under the illusion they will make them as comfortable they were before brexit. I have always been baffled by them. I came from abject poverty on rationing with a Tory voting father." on Wednesday, May 27, 07:30:11pm
